here's e long awaited update of my life :)
i've decided that i'm gonna convert to muggerism!
yes i know it sounds incredibly unbelievable tt someone like me is even thinkin abt muggin.
but rly i think maybe it's abt time i buckup and become a goodie 2 shoes kinda guy...
been rly slackin too much for e first half of tis yr
countless outings here n ere, not even enuf time to catch up with old frens (sry for some of u out there whom i've neglected)

J1 isnt as relaxed as most seniors haf told me.

can't wait for the mall to be up and fully functional so tt i can hang there anytime i want. rox livin a stone's throw away (literally) from "360 degrees of fun" -.- but downtowneast is rly like a 2nd town if not better :P

since i'm a man of my word i shall do my dreaded tutorials tmr aft cell urgh...

so very poor me, had to miss majority of the fondue coz i was helping backstage,

YAY I DID CAMPUS E TODAY! :D
my first time doing active in-campus evangelism, it was soooo coool mannn :))))
went ard with shengkun and luke n 3 of us all frm diff churches went around HwaChongJuniorCollege (yes the communist cheenapok sch-.-) to spread e gospel.
wow what a sense of accomplishment i've derived from e experience altho we only managed to find 6 interested ppl. but hey it's rly nt e no. tt matters right?
it's e impact we make in ppl's lives :D
well at e start my frens all thought we were some deranged schizophrenic lifeless maniacal lunatics, but i guess our sincerety shined through and with God's grace, some ppl actually showed interest in our doings :O

what a delight amidst e neverending bombardment of stressful assignments and e endless monotous lectures of term 2 J1 in HCJC!

despite e many reasons for me to h8 this camp, i still managed to pull through and what's more, i thoroughly enjoyed it. rly learned alot of valuable lessons frm it too :D

central BBQ was e love!
there certainly couldnt have been a better way to kick start e march hols mannn.
we totalleh rawked pasir ris park la :D
we rly owe it all to AhLee and JoanC for doing sucha gj organizing tis BBQ,

sry 4 not posting the past 2 wks, been real busy at sch...
orientation everyday finish at like 6+ then dinner outing with OG/CT, BLAH BLAH BLAH...
always reach home n just drop dead on my bed.
esp the last day of orientation which was last friday!
campfired finished at like 10pm+!
guess wad, everybody unanimously decided "LETS GO KAP MACS FOR SUPPER!"
and the whole of hc jus crowded kap like siao la!
walk into mac n all u see is a vast sea of beige LOL.
wanted to stay over @ jillian's house aft tt but sadly my mom didn't allow :(

1st day of sch rox man! despite the fact tat it lasted all the way till 6pm+, i thoroughly enjoyed myself. 7 more days of orientation to go! woohoo! JC life is the LOVE! (not for the moment only i hope T.T)

the day started off with draggy, boring absolutely irrelevant speeches by the principal and other bigshots as usual... a whole bunch of us went out to play cards and just pon the whole 5 hours of stoning in front of the speaker. not bad eh? 1st day of sch play truant liao =X

finally after the talks which lasted eternity, the orientation activities started!
thank god! it was so fun! played double whacko, guys inner circle, girls outer circle. Rachel did a good job protecting me! didnt get hit at all! thanks alot Rachel u've been a great whacko partner! :D

then we played this passing-from-cheek-to-cheek game! we had to balance this pad on our cheeks and pass it to each other in a circle using ONLY OUR CHEEKS! girls and guys alternate standing. quite easy actually. Rachel passed to me and i passed to Jillian with no difficulty at all. but BUT BUTTT! we have alot of retards in the group, and amazingly, in total we dropped 15+ times! -.- it's seriously amusing watching ppl tryna pass it and continuously failing. imagine how dirty and oily tt thing got in the end man. eww gross! i feel so fortunate to be the first few! gonna ask my OGL to send me so maybe i can post it up. super stupid!

have an extremely crazy super enthu orientation group leader called Jiin Shiuan (cool name huh) who just LOVES ~~to pick on~~ me! for no reason today during the games she made me do forfeit... i had to put on 5 watches on my arm, run up to some random guy, jump in front of him 5 times and shout "WHAT'S THE TIME!?" how lame. funny tho. the whole group cheered me on! haha.

ok fine i admit i actually drew first blood at her. she asked me to hold up the OG-9 (our group name) sign for her, but instead i pretended to be the group leader! dam funny la. i ask the j1's to go register with my "assistant"! she was like HEY! even more hilarious, Rachel and Jillian fell for it! can u imagine? they thought i was j2! haha. anyway, turns out my ogl is the cheer ic too. no wonder so hyper! Jillian and Rachel are somehow convinced that she likes me? O.o what a cool first day! 1st day already got girl like! nubbad! haha jk. Those 2, anyhow say one. cute la!

made new friends too! apart from my ol' hc mates, got to know some cool ppl from other schools! there Jillian from MGS, she DSA'd through squash! how cool! seen her before when she came over to my sch to play so i recognized her. and she's good... and i mean GOOD! bet she'd thrash me after the whole 2 yrs i've been ponning squash training, sure rusty like heck. i'm so not gonna join squash again. being a sports-lover, i'm thinkin probably soccer or maybe wanna try rugby!

also got to know Rachel from Crescent, she knows Amanda! haha. all crescent girls are so nice. oops guilty of stereotyping! but at least those i know are rly nice ppl :)

theres also this GEP guy who keeps meddling with his tiger-handpuppet! so freaky la. Rachel and Jillian was like omg tt hwachong guy is sucha weirdo! haa. i dont know him. rly. serious! super funny tho. what a retard. what a first impression to give!

overall a great first day. perhaps the best first day of sch i've ever had? yep. can't wait for tmr! gonna go slp now. if i can. dam i'm excited! =)

actually i was about to blog an emo post about missing my classmates/ centralmates etc.. BUT. BUTTTT. i wanna start off my new year 2008 on a happy note! so i shall blog about my fun Beijing-Harbin trip first! (also ~~partly~~mostly becuz my sis is buggin me to do so)

our trip was a very long one this time, 22nd - 31st, making it 10 days exactly unless my brain has somehow failed me perhaps due to the extreme cold? anyway, i'd like to correct my sis's post. the temp there wasn't 15 degrees celsius, it was a ~~good~~bitter -15 degrees celsius! that's a huge 30 degree difference that small minus sign made.
okay so it's our first time in china, being surrounded by that much chinese alone made me super ~~excited~~dizzy! haha. plus, the way the locals talk is a totally different slang from our singaporean chinese, they always rao4 she2 and talk, makes me even more dizzy! makes it super difficult to converse with them. they talk like some bullet train in a language i already have difficulty understanding in our own slang -.- we're always like "HEY SLOW DOWN MAN!!!"
other than the language barrier which IMHO far supercedes the Gr8-Wall-O-Cheena,
other than some of the food, the dry and freezing weather, everything else was actually quite enjoyable! overall a breathtaking trip.

sry for not posting in a long time, was rly busy this week.
ice skating outing w/ jayna, joanne, joanc, sherwyn, jae, rachel and my sis was rly enjoyable! i just love ice skating. my 6th time in my life, and 3rd time this holidays. u may say i'm addicted, but i'd say i'm passionate! ring a bell somewhere? lol.
highlight of the day: prayer on ice!
basically we were prayin our hearts out for joanne's friend who supposedly got into a car accident which she did, and had to amputate her right arm! but after much intensive prayer, the reality was turned into a joke! what a miracle! prayer really work wonders! i shall not elaborate further.

audrey's birthday yesterday, went her house to celebrate her bdae! watched national treasure, it was as incredible as the golden compass -.- had a good time too. and after tt stayed over at timo's house! what a fun-filled week i had.

"u know i was jus thinkin, the banner is so big and all and u wud think u nid big brushes to paint it, yet it's the small brushes that are more important for outlining, smoothing the edges n stuff?" and she went on and on abt it... haha! Parable of the paint brush? o.O

my baby sister's actions also set me thinkin...
why is it so easy for us to express our love for the ones close to us when we are young,
yet as we slowly mature, we find it so hard to simply say "i love u" or sth?
ironic i find it - how can we, despite the increasing realization of the importance of such gestures, consistently fail to do so as we grow older?
is it rly entirely correct to say maturity comes with age?

i personally am guilty of this. jus wanna say sorry to all those ppl out there whom i have hurt in one way or another, i assure u, i truly love u guys! i rly find it very hard to say sometimes, perhaps it's just social stigma? cuz like i'm a guy and i'm supposed to put up a strong front and stuff and those lovey dovey stuff are just meant for gals? well, everyone needs reassurance.

watched golden compass ytd. it's incredible.
an INCREDIBLE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
and theres this rumour abt it being anti christ. so yea. another reason nt to watch it. tho i didnt find it anti christ of anything? (maybe it's juz cuz i wasnt payin attention=X)

woke up at 11am today and almost DIED luh. i was supposed to meet timo at ps at 11am for tablesoccer, and coincidentally my sis also had to meet yuyi at ps at 11am for shopping n dunno wad else they do. and she was relying on me to wake her up!! ~~stupid log-sleeper can't even hear alarm!~~
apparently my clock died on me. it showed 5am... suay man. just had to stop on a day i need it most. stupid clock. ah well.
but the funny thing was that i smsed timo immediately to apologise that i was late, but found out he also just woke up! heng. and guess wad... yuyi hadn't even woken up. eventually she reached at like 12.45? LOL.

ok so after lunch at yakun together with timo n my sis, she went to meet her frens. had an IMBA time with timo in adidas thrashing noobs in ts. haha. the same people we thrashed yesterday. WHAT A JOKE. bet they have a really good impression of us -.-

yep then watched alvin and the chipmunks! super funny! i love it! always liked the few songs with chipmunk voice! *tell the world tt jesus liiiiivvves!* hah. even YA has been influenced.

after e movie, went ice skatin with timo, my sis, ~~aukoo, jokoo, sherkoo and nikoo~~ audrey, jody, shermaine and nicole @ e kallang ice world in leisure park. had a fab time! firstly it's not crowded unlike fuji ice palace @ jurongeast, so theres more space for us to glide around freely and at very high velocity without much worries of collision. other than the traffic benefits, theres still the ice there which is much nicer and smoother (also partly due to there being less congestion). downside tho is tt it's more ex, and the skates there are rather uncomfortable.
have this HUGE abrasion above my ankle. owch. but it was definitely worth all the fun! never skated so fast in my life. rly gt my adrenaline gg man!

hmm ok now to continue frm where i stopped my previous post abt e bangkok trip...
ok where did i stop.. oh tt disgusting meal with e lobster blood! ewww man. thinkin of it makes me sick again. i lov watchin blood n gore n stuff (yea nc16 rox) but not eating/drinking blood! well yea so after tt as usual more shopping... sleep, eat, wake up, breakfast, shop, eat, shop, eat, shop..... ahh ok u get it.

so now we've checked out of our beautiful hotel which my sis unfortunately didnt post pics of due to hp memory shortage -.-
ok so we're at e airport, rather early so my mom took us to e spa to get e foot massage.
very relaxing, worth it especially after tt much shopping and carrying shopping bags for some ppl! hmm yea but i wouldn't go for it again, unless my legs really ache like after a soccer game. not my cup a tea yea. spa stuff aint rly fer guys anyway. except ghey guys. (i'm not a ghey guy altho i can scream like nth)
oh and my sis wanted a pedicure/manicure. sigh. tt vain pod. n i thought i was vain -.-
after tt shiok foot massage, i tot i couldnt encounter anything more heavenly... that was till i stopped by coffee world n got a cup of hazelnut latte frappe! it was HEEEAVENLYYY!
PS DAVID frm YA was soo right. nth like a nice cup of HEEEAVENLYYY iced coffee!
i think i'm gonna be a hazelnut fan too! JAYNA i can b ur buddy already LOL!
yup tts all i gotta say abt the trip. lov vacations man. jus slack throughout HAH.
flyin off again to harbin from 22nd-30th dec! :)
the downside is tt i'll be missin 3/5 megalife services in dec! ='(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

SAWADIKA!!! i'm in thailand nw, shoppin in e nvr ending shopping arcade bangkok! supposed to b a business trip 4 my dad but we always haf e privilege of taggin along, turnin it into a vacation! :)

anyway, just arrived here on sun, gonna stay for 4 days till wed.
jayna's right, the ppl here r very nice. or izit maybe juz tt we're too used to the company of singaporeans who tend to be rude and unfriendly? if only sg ppl knew how to be half as courteous as the locals here.
1 thing i lov best abt thailand tho, is da FOOD!!! the stuff here r gr8! i totally enjoy the wide variety of spicy food their cuisine has to offer!
oh and needless to say the SHOPPING like duh! if u come to bangkok if it's not for the food it's definitely for the SHOPPING then! it's only e 2nd day here n we already hafta buy a new luggage juz to fit our new clothes!
so far i've bought:
- 4 polo-tees
- 2 pairs of jeans
- 1 cargo pants
- 1 walkin shoe
- 1 trekkin shoe (4 my harbin trip during xmas)
quite a long list already, considering e fact tt i'm nt rly a shoppin type of guy.
now i'm super tired. literally shopped till i drop! LOL.

goin out for a yummalicious dinner soon wif my dad n his business partners, gtg nw!

so basically i woke up late today, had lunch and immediately after that left for the make-a-wish foundation's xmas party. a good 17 days away frm xmas but o well, as i've said b4, on the 12 ~~day~~mth of xmas my true love gave to meeee!!! e spirit of givin shud linger all the time n not just on special occasions!
now tt i've mentioned thanksgiving, it reminds me, i'd like to thank my angel frm camp, whom i've jus discovered yesterday tt it was Carissa from tkgs! she showered me with yummy chocs all the way frm NZ! rly good stuff. thanks heaps!<3

YA gig today. just as enjoyable as camp! got everyone goin bonkers again!
had these cool big balloon thingeys for us to hit around, it was rly the PARTEH man!
screamed with the C2 gals again. krazy bunch they are. pushing and screamin @ each other non-stop throughout the song, all i can say is SIIIAO LAAA!! heh. but it was dam fun tho. lookin forward to screamin tgt again LOL. u girls go brush up on ur screamin skills then come challenge me again! =P

OH AND I INCLUDED THE YA SONGS IN MUH PLAYLIST! YEA!
i like the "tell the world" in chipmunk voice. so adorable haha.
think i'm addicted. but addicted to praising God is a good thing rite? hah.
YA songs are rly just too nice and touch me so deeply. pity i didnt even know abt them earlier. seems rather under-publicise doncha guys think? unlike hillsong/planetshakers?
so sad they're gone bk ta auss! gna miss them real bad! aww.
hope the anointing continues to remain on us even without the privilege of having the YA band with us anymore, i pray tt all of us megalifers will continue to burn for god ever brighter!

aww man jus got back from camp,
WHOA megalife [ONE] camp was superfantabuloustic man!

argh. so many exciting and krazy things happened over this past week man. i have so much to blog abt but i dunno where to start!

okay, so i jus shifted back to pasir ris, finally the MODEM works! imagine if i didnt haf megalife camp, i'd so totally be dead at home without internet and without a hp!?! how can i survive without those!!?!

yep. i lost my beloved hp just before camp!!! more importantly, lost all my contacts... =( wanted to cry man. gerlaine was tellin me it was a spiritual attack before camp. iono. but HEY! tt didnt dampen my spirits at all! cuz i have JESUS! and i totally enjoyed camp without my hp. actually i think it's a sort of blessing in disguise, no distraction whatsoever throughout the whole camp. i was jus totally cut off frm the rest of my life, solely focused on God!

camp was seriously shiok! err w8 did i say tt already? but it was and i cant help stressing the fact. hah. camp literally rejuvenated my soul, refreshed my senses and lifted my spirits! ~~just like a spa!~~ but hey! camp>spa hands down!(tho i've nvr been to one b4-.-) yea but basically camp rawked. nuf said.

having svc 3 times a day rocks man! the schedule for each day can easily be summarized into:

-wake up
-bfast
-morning svc
-lunch
-aftnn svc
-dinner
-nite svc
-sleep

wow. almost 10h set apart for svc. amazing.
during worship at the start of every svc everyone would jumped around and dance like mad like SIIIIAAOO LAAANG. dunno how i managed tt esp jus after i had my meal. wut a miracle i didnt get hospitalized for appendicitis by the way i was dancing! Hallelujah, Amen! =)

most memorable parts of the camp would obviously be the endless worship and prayer, funnest moments would probably be...
1. ~~annoying~~adorable p6s waking me up early in e morning begging me to style their hair for em!
(trust me to style matthew's hair on e 1st day n let him publicise e fact T.T)
2. screamin competition in LT wif e C2 gals! (found out tt ME>THEM in screaming, called me ghey LOL.
3. rugby/soccer/taupokking in e guys rm!
4. benton's stupid underwear-costume thingey + e underwear flag LOL.
5. mock court FTW!

o and i forgot to touch on the cell outing b4 camp. nvr had the time to since shifting. well, had a fun day! great time of cell bonding! what a pity only me, fide, manda, venison and ham came, along wif some frens. next time cell outing must haf the whole cell then shiok mah!!!

i think the cell is much closer now after the outing+camp. how very saddening it is when it dawned on me that i'm leaving centralone soon! =( ~~i know u guys will miss me!~~ i will miss all u guys! think i'll come back to join u guys anyway since my sis is still there heh =P
but yea. we will always be [ONE]. Central [ONE].

i'm thoroughly impressed with myself tt i've been able to break the 1 post barrier tt all my past blogs have been stuck at! :O do i get any applause? ok nvm i guess it aint NBD.
well, today's been a rly busy day with all tt shifting and packing stuff.

YEA I'M SHIFTING BACK TO PASIR RIS TMR!

can u believe it? back to the place where i spent my childhood. 14yrs of my life to be exact. literally almost my whole life spent there!
ahhh.. reminiscence of the good ol' days.
wut a pity a good portion of our great neighbours have alr shifted out too...
i like the location tho. next to downtowneast resort, near to pasir ris beach!
however sadly the facilities there r rather crappy, i recall the swimming pool used to be small to me even when i was a kid... imagine, now i do a single kick and i reach the opposite end of the pool! what strenuous exercise. and speakin of exercise, worse still, the gym is like permanently under maintenance? like for all 14 yrs of my life i don't have any recollection whatsoever tt the gym had been used by any of the residents. what a waste.
fortunately theres pasir ris park nearby, a gr8 place to jog n play soccer!

OH and 1 more fantastic thing! it's right next to my church, like literally a stone's throw away. ~~Dam, no more reason to come for service l8!~~

ok due to time constraints and all the shiftin stuff i hafta helpout wif, i gotta end my 2nd post here... and church camp next week so won't haf time to blog either. o well. cya guys when i cya! :)
